Description

In the current context, the need to work on the reforestation of the planet has become an indisputable priority. The effects of climate change, the loss of biodiversity and environmental degradation have reached alarming levels, threatening our very existence and that of future generations. Massive deforestation has left vast tracts of land without tree cover, contributing to the excessive emission of greenhouse gases and soil erosion. Against this background, reforestation is presented as a fundamental solution to restore ecosystems, mitigate climate change, preserve biodiversity and safeguard the health of the planet.

For this reason, Priceless Planet Coalition, the coalition of two important environmental entities (Conservation International and World Resources Institute), has set itself the goal of preserving the environment by reforesting 100 million trees by 2025.

Areas with the greatest potential for positive climate, community and biodiversity impacts will be prioritized as we set out to restore forest lands around the world. Together with our global forest restoration partners, the World Resources Institute and Conservation International, we can drive positive action against climate change.
