In the current context, the need to work on the reforestation of the planet has become an indisputable priority. The effects of climate change, the loss of biodiversity and environmental degradation have reached alarming levels, threatening our very existence and that of future generations. Massive deforestation has left vast tracts of land without tree cover, contributing to the excessive emission of greenhouse gases and soil erosion. Against this background, reforestation is presented as a fundamental solution to restore ecosystems, mitigate climate change, preserve biodiversity and safeguard the health of the planet.
For this reason, the Priceless Planet Coalition, the coalition of two important environmental entities, Conservation International and World Resources Institute, aims to plant 100 million trees to alleviate climate change.
Areas with the greatest potential for positive climate, community and biodiversity impacts across all 6 continents will be prioritized. Together with citizens, companies and corporate partners, we are having a positive effect against climate change.
